A dusk-inspired styled shoot that celebrates the first of spring flowers-- which are the very picture of praise-- and painterly skies. The last days of winter give us gifts in the form of flowers, as terra-cotta colored sweet peas, jasmine, and Japanese ranunculus and lisianthus begin pour in. The heart rejoices: it is nearly spring again. You can do nothing but make bouquets and fall in love.
These photos offer poignant reminder that God is the greatest artist. That sky could not be replicated. And as for those flowers-- I hardly had to touch them; they are masterful in their own right. It is an honor to work with creation to express things that are intangible-- things like love, and hope, and the promise of spring.
